Q: How do you create your tinctures?

We soak the herbs in Everclear for up to 12 months. The pure grain alcohol extracts every microgram of medicinal property from the herbs and berries.

Q: How is a tincture different from your syrup or gummy bears?

A: Tinctures are very distinct from syrup. Our herbs are soaked in pure grain alcohol (Everclear) for up to 12 months to extract all of the medicinal properties and create a super-infused tincture that is far more powerful than syrup. One dropperful of liquid herbs tincture matches 2 tablespoons of syrup for potency.  

Q: Do I have to refrigerate a tincture like your syrup and gummy bears?

Because tinctures are made with pure grain alcohol, they are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration like syrup and gummy bears.

Q: How do I take a tincture?

A: You can take a tincture sublingual; by placing a dropperful under your tongue and holding it for 15-30 seconds before you swallow. Or you can mix the dropperful with another liquid.

Q: Do the Everyday and Restore tinctures taste the same as syrup?

A: Since each tincture is made with the exact same ingredients as the syrups, tinctures have a very similar taste profile. But the tincture is more intense because it's so concentrated. Of course, the Everclear certainly is a distinguishing difference.

Q: Why is a tincture more convenient?

A:  Because the tinctures are made with pure grain alcohol, they don't have an expiration date and they don't require refrigeration. The 2oz bottle also complies with FAA guidelines so you can fly with a tincture very easily in your luggage or carry-on. Tinctures are super concentrated so one dropperful under your tongue daily is all of the convenience you need to protect yourself from cold and flu viruses.
